Job summary

Central Community College Nebraska is seeking a full-time Faculty NURS to engage with students and facilitate diverse learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a BSN and be working towards a graduate degree, or possess an MSN along with an unencumbered RN license for Nebraska.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Dean to support students' educational goals and representing the college's mission. Additional qualifications include at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have an unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in Nebraska.
  • 2 years of clinical experiences required.
  • If holding a BSN, must be working toward a graduate degree and complete it within 6 years of hire.

  • Assist students in accessing learning and reaching educational goals.
  • Provide varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities.
  • Represent the college and uphold its mission and standards.

Faculty NURS

Central Community College provides an awesome benefit package to full-time employees!

  • No employee premiums for Health/Dental Insurance; CCC pays 100% of the premium cost regardless of elected coverage level.
  • Retirement contribution from CCC 9% (staff) and up to 10% (faculty).
  • Staff: Vacation accrual of 1.5 days/month and paid holidays, including a week long winter break.
  • Faculty: 175 day contract.

Job Title: Faculty NURS

Location: Columbus

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Classification: Faculty Exempt

Position Summary:

The instructor will collaborate with the Dean to assist students in accessing learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities as assigned; and professionally represent the college, its role and mission. The instructor will meet the education and work experience standards set forth in the job specifications. The instructor will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
