Oceans Behavioral Hospital Baton Rouge is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support the Director of Nursing in coordinating and organizing administrative processes for hiring and staffing nursing personnel. The role ensures staffing for all units, mentors MHTs, and schedules education/orientation while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

You will document trends, communicate staffing needs, and remain on-call during evenings, nights, and weekends to secure appropriate coverage.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience coordinating staffing in a clinical setting is a plus.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training are required by Oceans Behavioral Health.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and organize administrative processes to assist hiring and staffing of nursing personnel.
• Communicate, coordinate, and facilitate staffing of nursing units under the Director of Nursing.
• Mentor and support MHTs and Milieu Managers; schedule orientation and education.
• Document and report demographics and staffing trends to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure safe operations and effective unit staffing; on-call during evenings, nights, and weekends.
