Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monro is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage nursing staff schedules across Monroe locations. You will collaborate with nursing leadership, HR, and department managers to optimize staffing, monitor overtime, and support onboarding of nursing personnel.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of staffing or healthcare admin experience, familiarity with scheduling software, and strong organizational and communication skills to ensure patient safety and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s in healthcare admin or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years staffing/scheduling or healthcare admin experience preferred.
• Experience in mental health or hospital setting strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules for nursing and support staff across both locations.
• Monitor daily staffing levels to ensure compliance with regulations, census, and acuity.
• Coordinate staffing adjustments including call-ins, shift changes, PTO, and shortages.
• Utilize staffing systems or software to manage schedules efficiently.
• Forecast staffing needs with DON, ADON, Nurse Manager, and HR Director.
• Reduce reliance on agency staffing by improving internal coverage.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, time off, overtime, and call-ins.
• Communicate staffing updates to nursing leadership and managers.
