Job summary

Sweden-Valley-Manor- is seeking a Scheduler to maintain nursing department schedules and in-servicing while tracking budgeted hours. The role emphasizes ensuring staffing meets state and federal requirements and daily monitoring of hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be compassionate, and able to manage attendance records and in-service training as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; computer skills recommended.
• Customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that staffing is adequate to meet State and Federal requirements
• Monitor nursing department hours daily
• Maintain attendance records for nursing department and initiate appropriate disciplinary process related to attendance issues
• Maintains records of nursing department in-servicing
• Plans in-service education as directed by DON and LNHA
• Assist in ordering medical supplies and maintain proper inventories for resident use
• Follows appropriate Infection Control and Safety Practices
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors
