Job summary

Sweden Valley Manor is seeking a Nurse Staffing Scheduler to maintain nursing department schedules and in-servicing while tracking budgeted hours.

You will ensure staffing meets state and federal requirements, monitor daily hours, and maintain attendance and in-servicing records. The role includes assisting with orders and inventories, promoting infection control, and clear resident communication.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service skills required.
• Computer skills recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that staffing is adequate to meet State and Federal requirements.
• Monitor nursing department hours daily.
• Maintain attendance records for nursing department and initiate appropriate disciplinary process related to attendance issues.
• Maintain records of nursing department in-servicing.
• Plan in-service education as directed by DON and LNHA.
• Assist in ordering medical supplies and maintain proper inventories for resident use.
• Follow Infection Control and Safety Practices.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
