SNF Healthcare is seeking an HR Director responsible for Staffing and Human Resources leadership at a New Jersey facility. The role includes creating master schedules for nursing staff, ensuring staffing ratios align with census data, and reporting to the Department of Health.

The position requires overseeing recruitment, employee data integrity, benefits administration, and compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains master schedule for all nursing positions.
• Ensures staffing ratios meet census requirements.
• Reports staffing ratios to the Department of Health.
• Hires and retains staff and recruits.
• Completes reports and graphs for open positions, hiring, and staffing.
• Maintains integrity and confidentiality of employee information.
• Keeps current knowledge of policies, pay practices, benefits, employment laws and communicates with employees.
• Coordinates center applicant flow from sourcing to selection; handles initial interviews and background checks.
• Manages bi-weekly Welcoming Program and trains new employees on time clock practices.
• Administers Benefits and Compensation programs; liaises with Corporate Benefit Services.
• Conducts basic computer training for new employees and supports transition to automated systems.
• Establishes performance evaluation schedules and counsels managers on performance management.
• Directs employees to resources and partners with Center Management on Employee Survey Process.
• Investigates causes of disputes and recommends corrective actions.
• Creates and maintains personnel files and center records according to policy and legal standards.
• Coordinates center programs (Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Employee Recognition, Communications, Events).
• Supports corporate change initiatives and participates in training delivery.
• Represents the center at unemployment and workers’ compensation hearings.
• Ensures compliance with policies and participates in Center Manager on Duty program.
• Payroll for all facility operations.
