Job summary

Paramount Care Centers in New Jersey seeks a Staffing Coordinator HR and Hiring Manager for our 110-bed nursing home to lead workforce operations, recruit top healthcare talent, and manage staffing strategies.

The role drives recruitment and retention, oversees onboarding and payroll coordination, and ensures compliance with healthcare employment laws while partnering with facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 2 years of director-level HR, recruitment and high-volume scheduling experience.
• Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of DOH staffing mandates.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Recruitment: Direct full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to build a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
• Workforce & Schedule Management: Develop and execute daily shift schedules to meet safe staffing ratios.
• Labor Cost & Agency Control: Monitor labor metrics to optimize cost containment and manage agency usage.
• HR & Compliance: Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and HR policy compliance.
• Onboarding & Retention: Oversee onboarding and implement retention initiatives.
• Payroll & Leave Administration: Audit hours and manage vacation/leave requests with Payroll.
• Executive Reporting: Present staffing, turnover, and recruitment cost metrics to leadership.
