Confidential Skilled Nursing Facility in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for a full-time Day Shift. The role focuses on coordinating daily nursing schedules and ensuring staffing coverage across all shifts to support patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing schedules, coordinating RN/LPN/CNA coverage, tracking attendance and overtime, and collaborating with nursing leadership to address staffing needs while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Nursing Home, Long-Term Care, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling RNs, LPNs, and CNAs preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly nursing staff schedules.
• Coordinate staffing for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs based on facility needs.
• Monitor call-outs, open shifts, and staffing changes and arrange appropriate coverage.
• Communicate schedule changes with nursing staff and department leadership.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and schedules.
• Assist with tracking attendance, overtime, and staffing hours.
• Work with Director of Nursing and leadership to address staffing needs.
• Assist with agency scheduling and coordination when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and facility information.
• Support the nursing department with administrative tasks.
