Job summary

FutureCare seeks a Nurse Staff Coordinator to organize nursing schedules under the Director of Nursing, ensuring efficient operations and timely resource provision. The role supports staffing across our facilities and maintains smooth communications among management and staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, handling changes, reviewing time off requests, and keeping precise staffing records. Competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience scheduling nurse staff, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong multitasking in a high-stress environment.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and proficiency in MS Office.
• Proven ability to react quickly in emergency staffing situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Nurse Management and nursing staff regarding schedules.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with creating and organizing and maintaining schedules for all nursing staff.
• Communicate scheduling changes to nursing staff.
• Review time off requests and adjust/coordinating schedules as needed.
• Maintain detailed staffing records & documentation.
