Plantation Rehabilitation & Health Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage scheduling for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in a skilled nursing facility. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with benefits eligibility and collaboration with Nursing Office and Administrator to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities include bi-weekly scheduling, handling time-off requests, maintaining master schedules, and finding replacements for call-offs.

Responsibilities

• Bi-weekly scheduling for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to the Director of Nursing for approval.
• Assist staff with time off requests and ensure no conflicts with operations.
• Maintain staffing levels and adjust staffing with facility census.
• Maintain daily staffing sheets and master schedule; update call-offs and changes.
• Find replacements for call-offs and assist on-call to handle crises.
• Calculate HPPD numbers per state regulations and submit daily records to Administrator & DON.
• Assist with hiring processes: interviews, new personnel files, and payroll handoffs.
• Monitor yearly physicals and staff evaluations; notify nursing staff accordingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by DON or administrator.
