Job summary

Amoroso Woodridge is seeking a dedicated Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team. You will manage on-shift scheduling, ensuring accuracy and alignment with care needs.

As primary administrator for OnShift, you will build 24/7 schedules for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, monitor call-offs, and adjust staffing to meet regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in high-volume scheduling in LTC, and familiarity with OnShift and health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CNA or scheduler in LTC setting preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of high-volume scheduling experience in skilled nursing or assisted living.
• Hands-on experience with OnShift scheduling software preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with state healthcare staffing ratios and Department of Health regulations.

Responsibilities

• OnShift Management: serve as the primary administrator for the OnShift platform, ensuring all employee profiles and availability are accurate.
• Matrix Alignment: build schedules that align with budgeted Hours Per Resident Day (PPD) mandates.
• CNA/Nurse Scheduling: create and maintain 24/7 rolling schedules for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Daily Call-Offs: respond to morning and evening shift call-offs to prevent unit understaffing.
• Mandate Management: monitor and adjust schedules in real time to prevent regulatory staffing standard violations.
• Agency Coordination: contact and book contracted shift-fulfillment agencies when internal staff is unavailable.
• Attendance Auditing: cross-reference daily punch-in logs with the master schedule to track attendance violations.
