Job summary

Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire is seeking a highly organized Nursing Scheduler to coordinate daily operations and ensure proper staffing for residents. You will manage schedules, attendance, leave requests, and on-call duties, while supporting the HR Director in staffing decisions.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois CNA certification, possess excellent communication, and can work with minimal supervision in a care facility environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification is required.
• Experience scheduling in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create daily nursing schedules for the department and fill vacancies promptly.
• Track staff attendance issues with the HR Director and manage call-offs.
• Order weekly supplies for the central supply room.
• Process leave requests and overall timekeeping related to scheduling.
• May be asked to fill shifts on the floor as needed.
• Handle on-call responsibilities and triage staffing issues with the onsite shift supervisor.

Job Summary

Serenity Estates of Lincolnshire is seeking a highly skilled and organized Nursing Scheduler to join our team. As a Nursing Scheduler, you will be responsible for helping to coordinate the daily operations of our care facility, ensuring that our staff is properly scheduled and our residents receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities

• Work on completing daily nursing schedules for the dept, including filling vacancies appropriately and in a timely fashion
• Take employee call offs and track staff attendance issues along with the HR Director
• This role will also be responsible for ordering supplies weekly for our central supply room.
• Take responsibility for leave requests from employees and general work time-keeping (scheduling)
• May be asked to help fill shifts on the floor as necessary
• On call responsbilities, triaging any staffing issues with the onsite shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate positive attitude and build relationships with staff.
• Computer savvy
• Possession of good organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and a reliable nature
• Excellent time management abilities
• Candidates must be Illinois state CNA.

Preference given to someone with scheduling or staffing experience in a long term care environment.
