Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, seeks candidates for Temporary Nursing Simulation and Lab Associates in the Health Sciences Center. The standard schedule is 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, two days a week, may change based on student and program needs.

This is a non-bargaining, non-exempt position with no telework. Under supervision, the role supports daily Simulation Center operations, prepares environments, assists faculty and students, participates as a voice actor or standardized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Three years of nursing experience in acute care settings.
• Ability to provide safe, competent patient care per current standards.
• Working knowledge of EMR and medication delivery methods.
• Experience with nursing skills such as injections, IV infusions, wound care, and catheter care.
• Proficiency with hospital equipment and safety precautions.

Responsabilités

• Set up simulation rooms according to templates and checklists.
• Create and share Zoom links for virtual components.
• Participate in simulations as voice actor or SP.
• Record observations and provide feedback to faculty.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies in the lab.
• Assist in Skills Lab and guide nursing skill practice.
• Onboard new staff and orient new faculty to lab procedures.
• Collaborate with the Simulation Coordinator, Technician, and Lab Manager.
