Job summary

Montgomery College in Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus seeks a Full-time Nursing Simulation Coordinator to lead simulation activities within the Nursing Department. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekends, and telework allowed one day per week.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, multiple years of nursing and teaching experience, and CHSE/CPR-BLS certifications. Salary range includes $81,740–$106,250 with possibility up to $130,760.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• Five years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Three years of teaching experience in nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings.
• Three years of instructional design experience.
• Experience in simulation pedagogy.
• Eligible applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Unencumbered Maryland/DC nursing license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing simulation suite and ensure a safe learning environment for students.
• Develop and implement simulation scenarios and related policies.
• Coordinate teaching, learning, and evaluation activities in simulations.
• Analyze and revise instructional systems and training programs as needed.
• Supervise staff including scheduling, evaluations, and training.
• Track supplies and monitor simulation-related data and student outcomes.
• Orient new faculty and staff to simulation practices.
