Job summary

Montgomery College in Takoma Park/Silver Spring seeks a Full-time Nursing Simulation Coordinator in the Nursing Department. The role develops and runs simulation scenarios, mentors faculty, and oversees the simulation suite and budget.

Telework eligibility is one day per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evenings/weekends. Required are an RN-eligible Maryland/DC license, CHSE, CPR-BLS, a Master’s in Nursing, and 5+ years in acute care nursing plus 3+ years teaching and

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing required.
Five years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience.
Three years of teaching experience in nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings.
Three years of experience in instructional design.
Experience in simulation pedagogy.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all simulation activities to develop and implement standards across the nursing curriculum.
Promote teaching strategies using simulations and provide faculty development.
Manage simulation budget and monthly tracking updates.
Collaborate with faculty to establish standards for simulation in the nursing program.
Supervise staff and monitor supplies for the simulation suite.
Track student participation and evaluate simulation effectiveness.
