Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus seeks Temporary Nursing Simulation and Lab Associates in the Health Sciences Center. The standard schedule is 7:30 am to 5:30 pm two days a week; this non-exempt, non-telework position supports the daily operations of the Simulation Center and contributes to delivering high-quality simulation-based education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and active RN license (Maryland or compact state).
• Three years of nursing experience in acute care settings.
• Ability to provide safe, competent patient care for acutely ill medical-surgical patients.
• Working knowledge of nursing procedures, electronic medical records, and medication delivery methods.

Responsabilités

• Set up simulation rooms per templates and checklists.
• Create and distribute Zoom links for virtual components.
• Participate in simulations as voice actor or standardized participant (SP).
• Record observations and provide feedback to faculty.
• Maintain and repair simulation equipment and stock supplies.
• Assist in Skills Lab and host skills review workshops.Collaborate with Simulation Coordinator, Technician, and Lab Manager.
• Assist in onboarding new staff and orienting new faculty to lab equipment and procedures.
