Job summary

The University of Olivet in Olivet, MI is seeking a full-time Simulation Lab Clinical Coordinator to operate nursing skills and simulation labs and coordinate clinical placements for the Pre-Licensure BSN program.

Responsibilities include running simulations, maintaining labs and equipment, and coordinating with partner facilities. A nursing degree is not required; healthcare, simulation, or educational operations backgrounds are welcomed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Two or more years of experience in healthcare, simulation, laboratory, education, or technical operations.
Aptitude with technical equipment, software configuration, and hands-on troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple schedules and compliance records.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
FERPA confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, operate, and teardown manikins for simulation sessions; troubleshoot equipment and coordinate service.
Build out simulation scenarios in manikin software based on faculty content.
Operate AV system for sessions, capture recordings, and support debriefing.
Serve as simulation operator during live sessions and narrate patient voices when needed.
Prepare and stock labs, support faculty during testing, manage station logistics.
