Job summary

The University of Olivet invites applications for a 9-month Simulation and Lab Coordinator to operate nursing simulation labs, manage equipment, and coordinate clinical placements for the Pre-Licensure BSN program. July 1 through April 30 is the expected term, with collaboration among nursing faculty.

This operational/technical role welcomes diverse backgrounds in simulation operations, allied health, EMS, instructional technology, and AV production; a nursing degree is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in healthcare, simulation, laboratory, education, or technical operations.
• Aptitude with technical equipment, software configuration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain simulation labs and equipment; run scenarios and debrief.
• Coordinate clinical placements for the BSN program and manage scheduling across partner facilities.
• Support faculty with standards, prebriefing, and debriefing environments.
• Track compliance, records, and accreditation documentation.
