Job summary

The University of Olivet seeks a full-time Simulation and Lab Coordinator to operate the nursing skills labs and coordinate clinical placements for the Pre-Licensure BSN program. The coordinator prepares and runs simulation scenarios, maintains the lab and equipment, and manages clinical placements across partner facilities.

A nursing degree is not required; collaboration with nursing faculty will ensure instructional integrity while supporting student learning and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Two or more years of experience in healthcare, simulation, or educational operations.
• Proven aptitude with technical equipment and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent schedules and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, operate, and tear down simulation manikins and labs.
• Coordinate clinical placements and maintain compliance records for accreditation.
• Maintain lab safety, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Support faculty during simulations, debriefings, and assessments.
