Job summary

St. John’s University is seeking a Simulation Educator for Nursing and Health Profession Programs. You will educate, coordinate, and integrate curricular simulation and lab activities for Nursing and other health professions.

The role reports to the Director of Simulation and collaborates with nursing and health-profession faculty to align experiences with accreditation standards. Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing, an NYS RN license, and 1–2 years in simulation/skills labs.

Qualifications

Earned Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Must hold an unrestricted NYS RN license.
CHSE certification preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in simulation and skills labs.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate simulation-based learning activities for Nursing and health professions programs.
Coordinate with the Director of Simulation and faculty to create Simulation-Based Experiences.
Ensure safe, supportive learning environments and provide student instruction in the simulation center and skills labs.
