Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Henderson, NV is seeking a Full Time Nursing Faculty Immersive Simulation Facilitator to support Clinical Operations, design and debrief immersive simulations, and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.

The role requires a Master’s degree in nursing, an active NV RN license, and at least two years of healthcare education or simulation experience; the site operates Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from a CCNE/NLNAC or ACEN accredited program.
• Active, current, and unencumbered NV RN license.
• Two years related experience in healthcare, clinical healthcare education, or healthcare simulation education.
• Demonstrates alignment with Grand Canyon University's mission and Doctrinal Statement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary educational support for Clinical Simulation Educational Activities.
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services to schedule activities and manage equipment and supplies.
• Oversee training processes and ensure systems and equipment meet learning outcomes.
• Lead trial, validation, and evaluation of scenarios as part of the curriculum.
• Orient and direct simulation staff, actors, volunteers and faculty for each scenario.
• Assist faculty with video annotation, data capture and outcome reporting.
• Ensure safety and proper use of all simulation tools and AV equipment.
• Provide reports or feedback to didactic faculty on student progress or outcomes.
