Job summary

Montgomery College seeks a Full-time Nursing Simulation Coordinator for the Nursing Department at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends, and includes telework one day per week.

The position is Non-Bargaining, Exempt Grade 31. The incumbent will coordinate all simulation activities, develop simulation scenarios, manage the budget, and collaborate with faculty to advance simulation-based learning across the

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Five years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Three years of teaching experience in nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings.
• Three years of experience in instructional design.
• Experience in simulation pedagogy.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all simulation activities to develop and implement standards across the nursing curriculum.
• Promote successful teaching strategies using simulations and provide faculty development.
• Promote excellence in clinical education through the use of quality simulations.
• Collaborate with faculty to establish standards for simulation used in the nursing program.
• Manage the budget for simulation suite expenses and provide monthly tracking updates.
