Job summary

Montgomery College seeks 3 candidates for full-time Nursing Lab & Clinical Associates in the Nursing program. The roles oversee students in nursing skills labs, ensuring safe practice and evidence-based care, while supporting lab operations and program activities.

Two positions at Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus and one at East Campus Education Center. Work hours vary; some Saturdays may be required. Not eligible for telework. Competitive benefits and salary are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in acute care.
• Ability to provide safe, competent patient care using current standards of practice.
• Working knowledge of EMR and medication delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide students in practicing nursing skills and patient care.
• Host skill review workshops and lab referrals.
• Evaluate student performance using standardized criteria and provide timely feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and collaborate with Lab Manager and course coordinator to address weaknesses.
• Mentor students in projects and activities (e.g., nursing clubs, events).
