Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe and compassionate nursing care. You will assist in personnel management, budget and strategic planning while supporting professional autonomy and shared decision-making.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Manager to improve outcomes, supervise staff, ensure regulatory standards, and promote continuous performance improvement within the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing practice; leadership/charge role preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state of employment; BLS certification required prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of PI Plan initiatives with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Provide feedback, counseling, and discipline to staff as appropriate; conduct staff evaluations.
• Coordinate staff hours, orientation, and competency; ensure nursing process is followed in care delivery.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to ensure patient satisfaction targets are met; participate in councils and special projects.
• Participate in leadership and staff meetings; promote professional development and staff engagement.
