Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care and to support the management of personnel, budget, strategic planning, and regulatory standards on the unit.

The role emphasizes leadership collaboration with the Clinical Manager to improve outcomes, ensure competencies, and foster staff development and professional autonomy in a high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two (2) years in clinical nursing practice. One (1) year leadership or charge role preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty required within 6 months of eligibility. BLS certification required prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of organizational performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide feedback, disciplinary support, and performance evaluations for staff as defined by HR.
• Help ensure staffing aligns with unit needs and patient care delivery models.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to ensure patient satisfaction targets and regulatory standards are met.
• Participate in leadership meetings, councils, and special projects to improve unit operations.
