Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care. You will assist with personnel, budget, strategic planning and regulatory standards on the unit.

Responsibilities include developing PI initiatives, evaluating staff performance, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. BSN strongly preferred and RN licensure required, with leadership experience valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare systems, and organizational processes.
• Experience with performance improvement theory and application.
• Knowledge of JCAHO standards and external evaluation/accreditation.
• Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to develop PI Plan initiatives and improve outcomes.
• Provide feedback, counseling, and disciplinary input as appropriate for staff.
• Conduct staff evaluations and support peer review processes.
• Support staff in achieving goals and participate in leadership meetings.
• Ensure staffing hours meet unit needs and optimize patient flow.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines and ensure regulatory compliance.
