Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for staff, allocate resources, and promote safe, high-quality nursing care within the unit. This role partners with the Clinical Manager on budgets, staffing, and strategic planning to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include supervising staff performance, conducting evaluations, orienting new hires, leading performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred; commensurate RN experience may be considered in lieu of BSN.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing; one year in leadership or charge role preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare systems, performance improvement, and accreditation standards.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact; professional organization membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for staff and allocate resources to promote safe, effective nursing care.
• Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with Clinical Manager on PI initiatives.
• Ensure staff competency, performance evaluations, and timely orientation for new hires.
• Coordinate clinical operations to maximize productivity while respecting diversity and patient rights.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high visibility on the unit.
