Job summary

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and update Nursing Service policies and procedures.
• Ensure Nursing Service Manual is current and staff follow it consistently.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director of Nursing Services as required.
• Participate in the Care Plan Committee and other facility committees as directed.
• Manage staffing, assignments, and supervision of RNs/LPNs and CNAs.
• Review discharge plans and assist in coordinating residents' care transitions.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized nursing service areas and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in ongoing staff development and in-service training programs.
