Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality resident care and coordinating with the DON/ADON.

You will direct nursing services, participate in quality assurance, review care plans, monitor medications, and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and an active RN license (Nevada).
• CPR certification required; experience with PCC preferred.
• English language proficiency: read, write, speak and understand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities and ensure adherence to policies.
• Direct nursing staff and coordinate with DON/ADON.
• Maintain and review nursing service procedures and discharge plans.
• Complete accident/incident reports and report to Director.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules.
• Participate in committees and QA activities.
