Job summary

Desert Willow Post Acute Las Vegas Hills Healthcare, LLC is seeking a qualified Nursing Supervisor to oversee the daily nursing functions and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will direct staffing, review procedures, and participate in quality assurance activities to uphold care standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants' functions according to current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual to reflect day-to-day practices.
• Meet with shift staff and support personnel to plan services, programs, and activities.
