Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a nursing administrator to support the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, high-quality, cost-efficient care.

The role focuses on ensuring competent staff in Med Surg and Outpatient areas, optimizing resource use, and meeting productivity targets. You will collaborate with hospital administration, physicians, and staff to improve processes, enhance communication, and sustain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current license in applicable State of practice for Registered Nurse.
• Minimum three years nursing experience; leadership/management experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrates skill in human relations and communications; broad understanding of the patient care process.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, quality and cost efficient care by ensuring competent staff in Med Surg and Outpatient Departments.
• Collaborate with administrative personnel and physicians to improve processes and communicate pertinent data across the hospital.
