Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a nursing professional to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas. This role serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as a staff nurse when needed.

The position involves supporting managerial duties delegated by a manager while upholding Mercy's mission and standards. A graduate of an accredited nursing program with MO RN licensure is required, with BLS

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state (MO) or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
