Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN - Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Services department for top-quality patient care.

The role requires an ASN or BSN, active RN license, and CPR certification with geriatric nursing experience preferred. Responsibilities include staff supervision, infection control, and ensuring compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Two years geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control.
• Act as DON in the DON's absence.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients.
