Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN - Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Services to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires an RN with ASN/BSN, active state license, and preferably 2 years geriatric experience; CPR; strong leadership and compliance with Life Care standards. The position is on-site in Kansas and involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• Currently licensed/registered RN in the applicable State.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control responsibilities.
• Assume the duties of the DON in their absence and provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
