Job summary

Life Care Center of Longmont is seeking an experienced RN to join as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our 187-bed skilled nursing facility. The role supports the DON in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Services to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications include an ASN or BSN, active RN license in good standing, and 2 years of geriatric nursing experience. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active RN license.
• Two years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department.
• Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff.
• Oversee infection control responsibilities.
• Assume the duties of the DON in his or her absence.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
