Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans for total resident care in line with physician orders and facility policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents as needed.
• Participate in daily and weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
