Job summary

Vista Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an energetic Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing care and services in line with assessments and care plans, under supervision.

You will assist in planning, organizing, directing nursing operations, and coordinating with MDS/RAI processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience as a supervisor in a nursing care facility or other related health care facility.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Current unencumbered active license to practice as an RN or LVN in the state of Texas

Responsibilities

• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by a licensed nurse, a CNA, and/or a nurse aide trainee.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing services.
• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and government/advocacy groups as needed.
• Participate in development and maintenance of the facility’s QAPI program and discharge plans.
