Job summary

Avir Vista is seeking a Nursing Services Administrator to lead administrative and functional areas within the Nursing Services Department and to support the Director of Nursing in overall operations in line with facility policies and government standards.

The role emphasizes program management, compliance, staff development, and on-call coverage, collaborating with other departments to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Manage areas or programs related to Nursing Services including documentation, medical records, nursing supplies, QA, Care Plans, MDS, Infection Control, Staffing, Training or related functions.
• Support the Director of Nursing by planning nursing service activities, monitoring day-to-day operation, prioritizing tasks, and managing records, budgets or supplies.
• Stand in as acting Director of Nursing, charge nurse or other nursing positions as needed with appropriate authority.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and Company QA standards and assist in corrective plans when issues arise.
• Develop positive relationships with regulators, families, and the local healthcare community.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with residents' rights rules.
• Assist in developing and implementing written care plans for residents.
• Supervise and participate in staff education and meetings to support department development.
• On-call rotation among ADONs and the Treatment Nurse, with weekly on-call duties.
