Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to support the Director of Nursing in directing and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines to deliver consistent quality care to residents.

You will lead nursing staff, participate in committee meetings, conduct rounds, and ensure timely communication with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license in the applicable State.
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate day-to-day nursing care in accordance with rules and standards.
• Ensure treatments, medications, and nursing services follow care plans and orders.
• Participate in evaluations and disciplinary actions when appropriate.
• Hold weekly/monthly committees and ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct frequent rounds to verify performance of nursing staff.
• Document incidents and notify physicians and families of changes.
• Lead as a team leader and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
• Ensure adherence to clinical policies and prevent abuse.
