Job summary

The Belmont At Twin Creeks is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to assist the Director of Nursing in leading daily nursing operations in accordance with state and federal guidelines. This role ensures high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance across shifts.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining safety and documentation standards. The incumbent will contribute to staff development and participate in quality assurance

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise day-to-day nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Ensure provision of treatments, medications, and nursing services per care plans and physician orders.
• Attend and participate in required committee meetings and quality assurance initiatives.
• Conduct rounds to verify nursing staff performance and patient safety.
• Notify attending physicians and families of significant health changes.
• Support orientation, development of staff, and annual or post-probation evaluations.
