Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON)/Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team and deliver high-quality resident care in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, hire and coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and collaborate with administrators to create a warm, supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of nursing management in long-term care
• Current/unencumbered RN license in NC
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Knowledge of regulations and best practices in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Direct, oversee and evaluate nursing personnel and care staff
• Guide staffing procedures and set departmental goals
• Organize admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• Develop and enforce policies for legal compliance and quality standards
• Control budgets and monitor department expenses, including payroll and supplies
• Collaborate with other departments and report to the Administrator
