• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department.
• Develop and update written policies and procedures.
• Maintain reference library of nursing materials for daily needs.
• Participate in Facility surveys and correct deficiencies.
• Develop and monitor an ongoing quality assurance program.
• Assist in Discharge Planning procedures and plans.
• Lead staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure staffing levels meet resident needs.
