Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Director of Nursing to supervise and enhance the Nursing Department, in collaboration with other departments to promote holistic, rehabilitative resident care. The role emphasizes administrative oversight, policy implementation, and ensuring high standards of clinical competency among staff.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN or LPN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state, with advanced education or experience in nursing management, and a sincere commitment

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Advanced education/experience in nursing management/administration.
• Strong leadership, communication and staff development abilities.
• Ability to implement standards of care, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in planning, directing and evaluating Nursing Department services.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet facility goals and resident needs.
• Provide ongoing staff development and mandatory in-service programs.
• Conduct monthly internal audits of Quality Indicators using audit tools.
• Ensure residents' rights and restorative/rehabilitative care are included in care plans.
• Maintain professional relations with physicians and accurate medical documentation.
