Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to help lead nursing operations, manage personnel and budgets, and ensure high-quality patient care in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.

Responsibilities include performance improvement, staff development, regulatory compliance, and coordinating with physicians and other disciplines to optimize patient throughput and safety on the unit.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN preferred; leadership experience required or possible
• Strong knowledge of performance improvement theory and application
• Familiarity with JCAHO standards and healthcare accreditation processes
• Budgeting and cost-conscious resource management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assists in administrative leadership with Clinical Manager
• Oversees performance appraisals and staff development
• Leads councils, task forces and quality initiatives
• Coordinates patient care delivery models to maximize resources
• Ensures regulatory compliance and patient safety on unit
• Manages onboarding and orientation of new staff and agency personnel
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to improve patient throughput
