Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care. You will assist in budget, personnel management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance to optimize unit performance and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading PI initiatives, staff coaching, and collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure high-quality care delivery and staff development within a comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years nursing practice; one year leadership experience preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty required within 6 months of eligibility; BLS before patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI Plan initiatives in collaboration with Clinical Manager.
• Assists in staff competency assessment and provides feedback, evaluations, and coaching.
• Contributes to staffing, budget planning, and regulatory compliance on the unit.
• Participates in leadership and staff meetings; promotes staff participation and professional development.
• Coordinates nursing care with other disciplines to improve patient throughput and outcomes.
• Ensures safe, therapeutic environment and ongoing staff orientation per policy.
