Job summary

Amerita is seeking a Nursing Coordinator Supervisor to oversee nursing coordinators, manage patient scheduling, and ensure timely POT delivery for accurate billing. The role combines hands-on scheduling with leadership responsibilities, training new staff, and maintaining compliance across home care operations.

The position requires at least two years of nursing scheduling experience in home health or infusion, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing scheduling experience in home care or home infusion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to travel up to 25% and work Monday–Friday with on-call weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision and support to nursing coordinators to ensure scheduling accuracy and policy compliance.
• Performs all nursing coordinator functions including patient scheduling and delivery ticket creation for billing.
• Monitors workflow queues, clinician visit logs, and documentation for timeliness and accuracy.
• Assists in training new nursing coordinators and provides ongoing coaching.
