Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler in East Providence, RI to coordinate and schedule nursing visits for Amerita and subcontracted agencies.

The role involves approving nursing documents, creating delivery tickets, tracking plans of treatments, and managing authorizations and invoices. Daily tasks include coordinating with field nurses, notifying about infusion orders, and triaging calls from patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge or experience in home care preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Amerita nursing visits.
• Review and approve nursing notes in Alayacare or other documentation software.
• Approve subcontract billing and manage authorizations and invoices.
• Triage calls from patients, providers, and internal partners.
• Maintain and track credentials and insurance documents for outside agencies.
• Collaborate with Intake, Sales and Pharmacy staff to schedule visits and orders.
