Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience scheduling in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to handle dynamic scheduling and last-minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is optimally staffed 7 days per week - 24 hours per day.
• Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules considering workload, qualifications, regulation compliance and staff preferences.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to optimize staffing make-up and budget impact including full-time, part-time and per diem resources.
• Handle scheduling conflicts, last-minute adjustments, and replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, PTO, vacations, and schedule changes.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding schedules and changes.
• Manage overtime and agency expense to achieve overall budget targets.
