Winship Green, part of National Health Care Associates, seeks a Nursing Scheduler to help ensure continuous staffing and high-quality care for our residents at 51 Winship Street, Bath, ME. This role supports regulatory compliance and fosters a compassionate, collaborative work culture.

You will develop and maintain nursing staff schedules, monitor workload, and coordinate with leaders to balance budgets and staffing mix, including full-time, part-time, and per diem resources, while managing

Qualifications

• Experience as a scheduler in a Healthcare or Long-Term Care setting is valuable.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is optimally staffed 7 days per week - 24 hours per day.
• Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules considering workload, qualifications, regulation compliance and staff preferences.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to optimize staffing make up and budget impact including full-time, part-time and per diem resources.
• Handle scheduling conflicts, last-minute adjustments, and replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, PTO, vacations, and schedule changes.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding schedules and changes.
• Manage overtime and agency expense to achieve overall budget targets.
