Qualifications

• Experience as a scheduler in Healthcare or Long-Term Care.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational, administrative and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle dynamic scheduling needs and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility is optimally staffed 7 days per week.
• Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules considering workload and qualifications.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to optimize staffing and budget impact.
• Handle scheduling conflicts and replacements as needed.
• Maintain attendance, PTO, vacations, and schedule changes.
• Communicate schedule changes effectively with the nursing staff.
• Manage overtime and agency expenses to meet budget targets.
